A weekend of introductions

Over the weekend we had our first two drop in events to meet people from the local community who were interested in getting involved. We were treated to culinary delights from local chef Javid and met lots of interesting, insightful and creative people. We are holding two more sessions next Friday night and Saturday morning so please do drop by if you'd like to find out more.

First Visit

Last Friday I spent my first full day at the Jinnah Centre, catching up with people involved and getting a feel for the area. My initial thoughts are that this is a community of contradictions,  unexpected parallels and layer upon layer of cultural influences which make you take a second look or questions what you may have thought to be true.
